The metaphors of organizations and management have been mentioned by Gareth Morgan in the book " Images of Organizations” (Morgan, 2006). Morgan exposed 8 metaphorical pictures of companies including machine, organism, mind, culture, political system, psychic prison, flux and modification, and tool of dominance, superiority. Each one of these metaphors creates insight, but as well obscures several corners. They may have both advantages and disadvantages. They allow seeing, yet also not seeing.
